The Aguascebas natural pool
Mogón is a small village located in a strategic place, bordering the River Guadalquivir and River Aguascesbas and at the foot of Sierra de las Villas. There are emblematic settings and magnificent places for swimming such as the natural pool in the River Aguascesbas, known as the Sierra beach, which is an excellent recreation area.
Mogón beach is on the River Aguascesbas. Although very short, it is one of the widest rivers in this Sierra. It forms this natural pool shortly before it flows into the River Guadalquivir.
It is a large rectangular pool regulated by a small dam. The water is quite cold. The river just comes out from the Sierra and descends steep cliffs causing impressive waterfalls such as the Osera waterfall, one of the most important attractions in the Sierra de las Villas.
It is considered a “water paradise” due to its many natural attractions. Visitors will enjoy the beach, two rivers, reservoirs and the spectacular waterfalls of crystalline waters.
