The natural swimming pool of Aguascebas, in Villacarrillo, suitable for bathing

The Villacarrillo Town Council allows bathing in the natural pool of Agusacebas, in the village of Mogón, in the municipality of Villacarrillo. This spectacular natural enclave did not allow citizens to bathe in 2021 due to a mud storm and the low flow of the river and in 2020, because of the Covid-19. However, this year, 2022, all citizens who wish to can enjoy a swim in the Aguascebas natural pool.

The beach of Mogón is located on the Aguascebas river, one of those rivers of the sierra that is plentiful despite its short length and which, just a few metres before flowing into the Guadalquivir, flows into this natural pool.

The pool is large and is regulated by a small dam. It is considered a paradise due to its numerous natural attractions: rivers flowing through it, reservoirs, waterfalls and crystal clear waterfalls.
