The recreation area

Los Calerines is a 6464 square meter green area in the upper part of Navas de San Juan area. It was a deteriorated area which has now been recovered for people to enjoy.

This recreation area has turned into a viewpoint from where we can see Sierra de Segura, Cazorla y Las Villas, Sierra Mágina, La Loma de Úbeda, Sierra Morena, Guadalén reservoir and some villages in the province of Málaga.

There are plenty of benches, rubbish bins, wooden rails and artificial light. The perimeter is fenced and made up of loose gravel.

The vegetation in Los Calerines is varied including mulberries without fruit, rosebay, lavender, jacaranda and washintonia among others.
